Asked mom if she wanted to lodge a complaint but mom said forget it, that man's a ruffian anyways, and a ruffian is as a ruffian does. Actually, I got angry because he started to scold my mom for asking him to take that shorter route and was so rude saying things like, "How can you choose that way? Har? Can only go by this way!" in Mandarin. I wasn't going to sit there and let him scold my mom over and over AND OVER again just because he insisted on taking a much longer route!
av98m SG This typr of thing, I will ask for a receipt(becaue it will have the time, taxi number etc) and also make a note of the driver's name. Then complain like hell! Somemore pay the booking fee leh!

av98m SG no no no this type of thing MUST cvomplain and get him suspended at the very least. This kind of sociopathic driver is the type that runs over people on the road on purpose ok. I'm not kidding.
kopiosatu SG and the best part we have a good reason that they can't complain about. because my shift's MC rate is super low. most of the time we don't go on MC like the other stupid shift with those bad apples. "i have work allergies"
Wanda SG Put it down to a suay experience then. The cab driver probably thinks he knows better. Most cab drivers I've come across would normally take whichever route the passenger dictates...they know better than to argue over it...even if it is indeed a longer route (by mistake).
Rhonda SG His was definitely a much longer route. I'm kinda hesitate to just 'put it down to a suay experience' because so far, I like the taxi uncles because most of them are nice people just out to make a good living. This one was just foul!
